The concept is that multi-partner alliances can provide services to high-potential start-up firms more effectively than those requiring each firm to select service providers independently. This article reviews the services available from these alliances and compares them to those provided by a venture capital company. A general discussion of the probable success and failure of these ventures is provided, along with details relating to four example firms. ER -
